The brain cells contain millions of neurons. A neuron consists of Dendrites, Cell body, Axon covered by layers of Myelin Sheath and Nerve ending.

Function of a neuron- To transmit neural impulses.

Myelination of neural pathways- Axon is covered by layer of Myelin Sheath.

The cross-sectional diameter of an axon is important determinat of impulse propagation, “the larger the diameter, the greater the velocity of propagation”.

My Understanding-:

When we practice a concept, activities in the brain also tunes in. As we practice, that particular impulse flow in brain cell goes on in a repeat mode thus resulting in the enlargement of Myelin Sheath’s diameter. As per the physics of brain biology- larger the diameter of the Myelin Sheath the speed of impulse transfer is mightier. The high velocity of the impulses in neurons has to be credited to our rigorous jamming sessions eventually finishing of with a brilliant performance.

                                                     To the drama:

One of our characters has been enlightened with this thought. He strikes out a conversation as he is going out in a car with his friends.

‘Enlightened friend’- E.friend.

E.friend- Hii guys does anyone know what happens in our brain when we practice something? Do you know how are we able to put up with a great show after a drill?

Friend 2- Don’t know brother. Why don’t you explain it for yourself?

Friend 3(Driver)-  “Mr. Know all show”.

E.friend- Shut upp! It is actually interesting. Listen up guys.

Friends- Yes sir! Yes sir!!

E.friend- I presume you all know that brain cells consists of neurons. For those who are unaware, Brain cell consists of neurons. There are millions of them, their function is to transport electrical impulses or information. A typical neuron cell consist of A cell body, Dendrites, Axon which is wrapped by a layer of Myelin sheath and the nerve ending.

Friend 3- Fuck!! I’m already sleeping.

E.friend- Bro! c’mon, the dope part is about to come.

Friend 2- Sure! Sure!!

E.friend- Thank you. So where were we? Yah the nerve endings. So this is the thing, the Axon is wrapped by few layers of Myelin Sheath. This Myelin Sheath also ensures the transportation of the impulses. As the Myelin Sheath bulks up in its diameter, the velocity of the flow of impulses also increases. As we practice more, the diameter of Myelin Sheath bulks up. That is how one ends up stealing his show. 

Friend 4(shot gun)- hi this is cool actually.

E.friend- Didn’t I tell you, hmm Thanks to me.

After some time.

Friend 4- Hi, E.friend. I had a thought now.

E.friend- What thought? Is it related to that Myelination?

Friend 4- Yes. As we practice an activity our body sends impulses relating to that activity. As we repeat the activity, the same practice of that impulse transportation is happening in our head repeatedly.

E.friend- Yes.

Friend 4- So, more that activity more the bulking of Myelin Sheath, resulting in information transfer at greater velocities.

E.friend- Precise.

Friend 4- I was thinking about those intricate activities, like thinking about good things, like talking to friends about good and progressive topics and anything apart from physical activity.

Do all these intricate activities bulk up our Myelin Sheath? Eventually all those good things we thought and discussed, will it have a chance to become our kind of force majeure?? What do you think?

E.friend- Woa! Mmm!!? Perhaps. But force majeure? What do you mean by force majeure?

Friend 4- Ok, lets take this for an instance-A person is so passionate about cinema he thinks about it all the time, discusses cinema with people when ever they hang out. Now tell me this, does all those small scale and non-physical parameters become a reflex action for the person.

Friend 4- Or take this, a bunch of friends like us. They talk all good n great things, they think about worldly issues and solutions, they talk art and poetry, they just think and talk. All those thinkie n talkie sessions they had, would it get registered? Does it result in the bulking of Myelin Sheath? 

Will those sessions register and result in becoming a reflex action when they are in crisis situation?

E.friend- Ha-ha. Brother, nice. Genuinely nice. I think I can see some existential rant too. 

I would like to recall a fact I read in an article- we received our genes from our forefathers. All the trauma, vital and life changing circumstances they experienced are recorded in a gene. 

So what I’m meaning to say is that all those trauma and situations our forefathers walked through were recorded in a gene and were passed on. All those trauma and situation they went through is proven to have an influence in our decisions. 

Hence we can conclude that our individual thoughts can have a potential to be our own force majeure. Yeah why not I guess.

Friend 4- Mmm. Now I’m also positive about it I guess.

E.friend- So where are we upto guys? What is the agenda for our lives from now?

Friend 3- I think we’ll just concentrate on the ride.

Friend 2- Is religious smoking because of Myelin sheath bulking up?

The advent of the excessive Internet usage in my country. Reason-Two years before Jio hit the market, they knocked the society out of its stable minds.

Internet has been the destination for many activities. It is not only a serious business enhancement tool, it is also a serious tool for ordering vegetables, breakfasts, tampons and condoms without human intervention to a possible extent.

People calling up restaurant to order their dinner has been simplified to telling an app what you desire to eat for lunch and knock…knock the food is at your mouth. The app takes care of the order, it just brings your order like hell or high water .You don’t have to get worried that your desired food is not available with us stories from restaurant folks because these food ordering applications are suited up with a never say never attitude.

                                                                            the crux.

Inside of a share auto. Thirumangalam, Chennai.

At first i see Share auto drivers sitting inside their auto and arguing about the best Internet service provider and whose plan is the best to have.

After some time…

 A share auto driver(I’d like to call him Moorthy anna) comes to his stand after his chance. He checks out his phone and after some time he thinks of ordering food through Internet like his children did the other day. He also thinks about the reaction his friends will have when they see a delivery boy at the stand delivering the food he had ordered. He gets excited and decides to go ahead with the plan. There he has a trouble now, though he is getting good with his phone he has not ordered anything through his phone by himself. He calls up his wife and asks her to put his children on line. He asks his children about the application that brings food and asks how to order food through it, they give him the directions, he writes it down on a piece of paper (whatever language he is savvy with, probably Tamizh), his excited children also remind him that the language of phone is in Tamizh so he wont have more trouble in executing his plan. The children demanded for a treat before they hung up, he sighs-budges and sighs again. He drinks some water from his bottle and is all set to order some food online. He tries to accomplish this feat but couldn’t succeed. He calls his children again from his small phone and asks them to direct him as he is in the process. They surf together to order some food with little confusion here n there. This was also a test of patience for his children and a 21-centaury way of establishing some strong bond.

He is done with his food ordering, he had ordered two biriyani’s, which is slated to reach his stand in 27min.

He called his friend (Salaam) to tell him that there is a surprise and not to eat anywhere. Now, all he was thinking was the kind of reaction his auto stand mates will have when the meal arrives. He also accepts the fact that he had ordered a lunch which has an expensive aroma. Salaam arrives to the stand by now, he gets off his vehicle and goes for a piss, during the piss he calls Moorthy to ask him where he was and what was the surprise. Moorthy tells him that he is parked near the electric post, and orders him to come at once.

Delivery boy calls Moorthy to tell him that he has come near to the bus stand.

Moorthy attends the call and directs him to come to the share auto stand and ask for his name to any of the drivers present there, he gives his vehicle number.

The delivery boy goes to the auto stand as per Moorthy’s direction. The boy gets to the stand and asks for Moorthy to a driver present there, the driver Is puzzled and asked him what is it about. The boy sighed, told him that Moorthy had ordered some food and he had come to drop them off to him, boy asks for Moorthy again.

The driver gets off his vehicle and looks for Moorthy’s vehicle. There! he says, right under the electric post. The boy goes off to Moorthy.  Asks if he was Moorthy and gives away his order, collects the cash. The boy goes away.

Salaam who was with Moorthy in the cabin of his auto was freaked to see two hot Biriyani packets delivered to the stand. Few of his driver colleagues present there gathered to see the biriyani packets being delivered. Moorthy sitting there like, what’s up folks.
